I’m the photographer behind The Cartwright Collective.
My work centers on presence, storytelling, and photographing people in a way that feels natural and uncontrived. I’m drawn to emotion over perfection and connection over posing — creating images that feel as meaningful years from now as they do today.
Each session is approached with intention, care, and a deep respect for the season you’re in.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Every session is a little different, but a few questions tend to come up.
What if my kids don't cooperate or things feel chaotic?
That’s completely okay — and honestly, expected. My sessions are relaxed and gently guided, with plenty of room for kids to be themselves. We’ll move, pause, and follow their lead when needed. Some of the most meaningful images come from the in-between moments, not perfect behavior.
Where do sessions take place?
Sessions can take place outdoors, in your home, or at a location that fits the season and feel you’re drawn to. I’m always happy to recommend locations based on light, comfort, and the overall mood you’re hoping to capture.
What Should we wear?
After booking, you'll receive simple guidance to help you choose outfits that photograph beautifully and feel like YOU. If your session includes access to the client wardrobe, we'll walk through those options together as well.
HOW DO WE BOOK AND WHAT HAPPENS NEXT?
Once you reach out, I’ll guide you through availability, choosing the right collection, and securing your date. From there, I take care of the details so you can simply show up, be present, and enjoy the experience.
